Unscramble FMARFI: Letters, Definition, and Answer
FMARFI unscrambles to AFFIRM, a 6-letter verb from Jumble Answers Today: October 31, 2026. Repeated letters: F (×2).
How to crack FMARFI
FARM uses four tiles and looks finished until F and I have nowhere to go — the trap that burns a minute on this rack. FAIR and FIRM pull the same way and fail on leftovers. Stop treating FARM as the whole answer. Put AF at the front the way affect and afford do, then FIRM at the end: AF, FIRM. Once both F letters sit inside the declare verb, AFFIRM is the only everyday word that clears every tile.

What does AFFIRM mean?
AFFIRM (verb): to state as true, or to declare support for something. Example: “The kids would affirm that the candy haul had been a complete success.”
Similar: confirm, assert, declare, avow. Opposite: deny, contradict.
Did you know? "Affirm" comes from Latin affirmare, to make firm. In court, witnesses who do not swear an oath may still affirm that their testimony is true.
Using AFFIRM in a sentence
You affirm when you state something as true or back it: affirm a claim, I can affirm that, an affirming nod. Confirm and assert cover similar ground; deny and contradict push the other way. Affirm an oath is the courtroom pairing for a witness who will not swear. Keep affirm separate from farm and firm as jumble cousins — farm was the four-letter decoy on this rack, firm is the last four letters once AF is in place, and affirm is the Latin-derived verb both leftovers were waiting to complete.
How AFFIRM fits the puzzle
AFFIRM circles F, F and I. Those three letters become both F letters in FRIGHT and FULL plus the I in FRIGHT — so this six-letter verb quietly supplies the double F that makes the hyphenated punchline click.
Its circled letters feed the caption answer, "FRIGHT-FULL".
