How to solve a Jumble with the app

Type the scrambled letters from your newspaper puzzle.
Add a ? for any letter you can't make out.
Read the matching words. For the cartoon caption, switch to the two-word solver, the same approach as the multi-word jumble solver on this site.

Enter up to 15 letters and see every valid word straight away. The default NWL word list is built into the app, so solving works without an internet connection.

Blank tiles

Type a ? for any letter you can't read or don't have, and the solver tries every letter in that spot.

Two-word jumbles

Enter 4 to 14 letters and see every way they split into two real words, the shape most cartoon captions take.

Daily Jumble answers

The Answers tab shows the latest daily puzzle and opens the full answers post here. An optional notification tells you when a new one is up.

Filters and word lists

Filter for words that start with, end with or contain certain letters. Choose NWL (US and Canada), CSW (UK and Australia) or ENABLE.

No sign-up, no in-app purchases, and your letters stay on your phone. The only permission it asks for is the optional notification.

Is the app free?: Yes. There are no in-app purchases and no account to create.
Does it need an internet connection?: Not with the default NWL word list, which is stored on your phone. The CSW and ENABLE lists are downloaded the first time you choose them, and the daily answers need a connection to load.
Is it the same solver as the website?: Yes. It uses the same NWL, CSW and ENABLE word lists as the solver on jumblesolver.info, so answers match on both.
How do I report a missing word or a bug?: Use Send feedback in the app's Advanced tab, or email hello@jumblesolver.info.
